Having worked with Microsoft for nearly 28 years in international leadership roles, Frank Utermoehlen has a deep understanding of developing markets for technology, software and cloud services. His specialty lies in the initial creation of revenue strategy, marketing and GTM planning, building partner frameworks, negotiating and closing deals, as well as developing teams to manage the ecosystem. During this time he experienced Microsoft´s journey from a startup with 50 people in Germany to a leader in the IT industry. Utermoehlen´s academic journey began at the University of Karlsruhe, where he completed a dual degree in economics and computer science with a focus on marketing. Later in his professional life, he held director positions in marketing and sales, leading teams of up to +60 people and focused on his professional development around people management, negotiations, leadership while studying online.
